JOURNEY WITH US
The YWAM Canberra DTS is your launch pad into life and ministry. The Discipleship Training School is 6 months of intensive getting to 'know God and make Him known’. Week by week different trainers teach a specific topic – whether it’s knowing God and hearing his voice; or relationships; or missions – each topic building on the other to draw you closer into relationship with God and prepare you for ministry. The DTS has a highly skilled group of staff who are tracking with you, running class and group processing times, meeting with you regularly and helping you to get the most out of the school. After 12 weeks in Canberra we hit the outreach phase, another 2 - 3 months of putting what you’ve learned into practice in a cross cultural setting. All this is done in a close ‘family’ atmosphere. Most people find the DTS to be the most intense growth period of their lives.
